I hate it, I hate myself. I guess I am not perfect, for all we know nobody is perfect. In some way or another we make mistakes. If I could just delete or edit some of my discussions here, I don't know I just want to. Do you feel embarassed when your grammar, spelling, and punctuation marks is incorrect and yet you cannot do anything about it because you already submitted the response. And so that's it, "first impressions last". The person who might read your discussion or your post might think you're an....

Please don't get down on yourself. I know how you feel as I feel the same, I wish I could edit some of my post especially when I accidently hit the post instead of preview button and see I have typos all through it. I just hope that others can see they are typos, and that we all make mistakes, and that no one is perfect.

Everyone makes mistakes. Don't beat yourself up over it. Mistakes are how we learn, grow and become better people

I cannot afford to read my discussion or response that much because I don't have a good eyesight. I don't usually wear my eyeglasses.

Don't waoory about that, everyone have made mistake in certain time.
People always think himself is not perfect, but we should know the others is the same with us.
I also make some mistake, but I can learn from it, I would not to make the same mistake after that, it is good enough.
So if you can take the mistake down and learn from it, just take it easy, don't waoory about it.

Language is mode that takes one to the other side. While it is just enough if the message is conveyed, displine is a good factor to imbibe. Before posting finally, 'preview post/comment' can be taken into account. Above all, concentrated effort will fetch the desired result. Mistakes do teach us some thing. One should be careful not to repeat the same mistake. EACH mistake does TEACH us greatly.

Yeah because I read the books but I don't bother whether the author is a he/she. I just fell in love with the story and not with the profile of the author.

see, mistakes that tend to happen by mistake should not be considered as mistakes. They are just accidents. I too tend to do mistakes here like you ar others. There are so many of others who can not aviod it. Main motto should be to express yourself in such a way so that it should be understood, accepted globally.
that's it.
I just go throght once what ever i write here and correct as much as mistakes i find. But still sometimes i fail to correct 100%.
So i too feel bad about it. Feels ok when i think that being a perfectionist is a costly job!

please do not hate yourself or take it against yourself if you have done mistakes.. its natural and it is normal. you are not perfect, you are not a God. hey whats nice about being human is being able to commit mistakes!.
its ok to be embarassed with the grammar and spelling and punctuation but dont let it bother you for a long time.. see these are just typographical errors which all of us commit!. and all of us dont really have perfect grammar!. well i know that im not so good at it but as long as i can deliver my point and i have no evil intentions then i wont be embarassed at all.
because mistakes are errors that have been done i think that one should learn from it and never do it again.. first impressions last only for those people who wont be dealing with you again and those people dont matter anyway.. for friends however the quote "first impressions last" doesnt apply because they know who you really are..

We learn by our mistakes, do not be so hard on yourself. :D VIRTUAL HUGS.
Did you know you learn more and remember more by doing something incorrectly, than correctly.
My grammar is poor, but my spelling is okay. Punctuation is fairly easy.
"If it makes sense, then its a sentence so it gets a full stop"
Then of course you have the comma, which you use in a list of things.
Today I bought a packet of soup, a tin of beans, a roll of foil, a bag of buns, a frozen chicken and a pink cat!
so at the end of the list where the and a pink cat! there is no comma.
Sentences begin with a capital letter always.
Hey your doing fine now stop beating yourself up.

the person who responds to your posts and sees past your errors is the person worthy of a plus. the person who appreciates your responses and minds not your errors is the person worthy of your time.
i think myLot is a very wonderful opportunity to express ourselves. let's not worry about our mistakes and enjoy! after all, life is about making mistakes and finding humor in them.

its normal to have erors occationaly, as far as I can tell nobody is perfect, the important part is that it can be read, I ofte have more errors than I would like but thats due to several aspects, including spelling and grammar issues as well as my cordless keyboard, sometimes the signal does not feed correctly to my computer, I dont really get embarrased over it, to err is human

think you as a what? i admit i get that kind of impressions with people online...but, now, don't fret. its ok. i myself am not perfect in grammars and spellings, but then, we here are just communicating with each other and in informal manner. i mean were here to be members of a community who share and discuss things that are not kind of professional stuffs... so it's ok. i think the quality of the discussions and comments you post are the most important in basing impressions.

It is impossible to never make mistakes.
What is far more important is to learn from your mistakes and use the experience to do better in the future.
As a wise man once said, "If you have never done anything wrong, you have never done anything."

We do not intend to make it wrong spelling or wrong grammar. I think we are here to learn something new from others and not to judge to the spelling or grammar other people's posts. I am happy being here because it can help me improve my English more. As what you have said "Nobody is perfect" so do not worry about it. =)

Everybody makes mistakes, anyone who laughts at you or calls you names is a hypocrite. Don't let those petty things bug you. There's no way you can stop making mistakes. I mean, we were programmed by God to make mistakes because we're not gods.
