Why can't I drink without smoking??!!!

I am trying to quit smoking for the umpteenth time. I have no problem going without cigarettes during the week, but the only time i'm tempted is when i'm out drinking, or around drinkers. i know the obvious solution to this is to avoid going out where i'll be tempted to smoke, but there always seems to be an invitation to go out, and i can't be rude and not turn up to someone's birthday party! Does anyone have any suggestions?

come to Singapore!!! here.. a lot of NO SMOKING sign around..hehehee..if you caught smoking...you will be FINED.
Anyway, its all up to individual. If you really want soemthing in life, you have to work harder and focus on it. I'll bet you CAN DO IT!. Wish you all the best!!
