If flies are dirty and insects like cockroach are prone to germs, aren't they die in disease?

They might get a disease if they eat at Macdonald's or some other fast food dive. I can't imagine a cockroach getting cancer. That makes me wonder if insects can get cancer from second hand smoke? This could be quite a topic. Would a fly eating raw meat get sick and die? I think that the little critters are somehow immune to diseases. They are only transmitters.

I don't think they live long enough to develop cancer! XD

Of course they do. Anything that is harmful to them is a disease for them like being exposed to insecticides.
