I got a tatt of the word 'sublime' that's on the self titled album cover. It's just a black outline. I don't really want to colour it in orange, like the original, but i don't want to leave it blank. Also, it's on my lower back (gasp!) and I want to modify it in a way that doesn't look so ...lower back girl's tattoo. I'm thinking of incorporating the black roses fromthe cd cover too.. any ideas would be appreciated!

luckily I don't show off that tattoo and hardly anyone sees it. Because i got it for myself with no intentions of showing it off so to me that place seemed like a good place to put it. ha maybe i can put roses all around it and joining up at the front like a belt. joking.

Sorry I can't give you an ideas on what to add to it. However I will say this, tattoos should be an expresstion of yourself. I always had a pet peave about band tattoos. I mean tattoo are perment and you are basically tattooing someone else's glory on your body. Do you not have dreams and aspirations of your own? I dig tattos I have some myself however they are my own design. So my response is, be creative and don't depend on strangers opinions on what to put on your body perminetly.

Well I agree. Sublime isn't even my favourite band. It's just what they're all about- finding happiness in the face of diverstity. No matter what mood I'm in, I can always get through it when I think of what the people in that band went through and how they chose to approach life.
