Why Do Men Spend So Much Time Sitting On The Toilet?

I think that it is the cave mentality thing. Time to just sit and do your thing and read or play the hand held game or whatever. Alone time that they seem to relish. I do not tend to read in the bathroom either. Hope that others that can answer will divulge the truth about this event in our lives.

An interesting question!I always sit on toilet for about 20min and I usually read newspaper.I can't tell the reason,but when I was sitting on it,I must enjoy it as I do it everyday.Life is also,we are never happy if we don't enjoy life. So whatever you do,you shall enjoy it!

i have a friend who stays too long in the bathroom becasue he reads newspaper there before bathing. i then figured that he's doing that to compressed his time because he has work so if he sits in the living room it'll take him much time than his idea reading at the bathroom. in my part, i also stays in the bathroom that long, im a woman though. because in the morning after i wake up, i go straight to the bathroom and do my morning prayer there. before bathing i use to sit in the toilet for like 30mins doing nothing but talk to myself. =) weird right. just anything i wanna discuss. since i live alone so i discuss it to myself. i sometimes drink my coffee in the toilet or listen to the music while throwing.

They do tend to spend a lot of time in the little room, I saw on television the other day they were talking about daily habits and they mentioned enormous amount of men who actually die on the toilet, its good these days how everything is talked about, I even noticed Oprah talking about poop the other day,,,has to be good to be talked about I think...

I can't say too much as I am guilty of it too. I think they go in there to avoid us woman. They think they are safe in there. Mine also likes to read in there. It tends to be quiet in there and very few people will bother someone in the bathroom, unless its one of us women.lol. I tend to read or look at the grocery fliers. I know, I'm a little strange.lol.

I don't think it's just a man thing - I do it just as much as any men I know. Mostly, though, it's because it's the only quiet place in the house or I'm reading and my book is good.
