If you see someone who's zipper is open, do you tell them?

I was on my way to work one morning and was riding a shuttle to the office. Halfway through the trip I noticed the guy in front of me had his zipper down. He was asleep and I didn't want to startle him awake and point it out in front of all the other passengers. I tried to wait for most of the people to get out, but he was among the first few people to get of the shuttle.
Even for girls, if her bra strap is showing, is it right for a guy to tell her? Maybe for guys to tell guys their zipper is down would be ok as girls telling girls what's up, even if they don't know each other.
Would you tell a total stranger that there's something wrong with what their wearing, their zipper for example?

I might tell a total stranger, but I don't know if I would tell someone I know, I do not want them to get the wrong idea.

We were at my sis in laws girls night out and I had just had a baby 5 days before. We had gone to a nightclub and we all noticed this guy had his zipper down. My mother in law dared me to go tell him. I could not get rid of this bloke for the rest of the night. My mother in law thought it was hilarious. I have refused to tell people that since then lol.
