what's that star behind your name??

just wondering what does the star tells us..some names here in mylot have stars and some don't have just like me.. im just curious about what it brings to ones account...and what are those numbers written on it...how can i get a star?? can anyone tell me or explain it to me please... thnx a lot... ^^

hi there, the starts are based on a rating, say for example you respond to my discussion, i will give you a rating of either + - ! and it goes on from there, then i think mylot calculates in some way, how mnay good and bad ratings you ahve had then give you a final rating, but they can go up because when i first got my star it was an 8 now it's a 9 and it can go as good as a 10 star rating. you will get your's on your 100th post, good luck and hope this helps! :O)

you getyour star when you hit 100 posts . so you are almost there and the numbers are for popularity or the quality of your posts

yes its like rating....i joined last week..yesterday i got star with 6 rate.. today morning it got into star with 8 number... so will hope to see 9 or 10 tomorrow...
