What's your favorite Family Guy joke/parody? I'm not just looking for a simple joke, but your favorite time they parodied something and give me a reason why you like it.
My favorite Parody is actually on right now - the Willy Wonka parody. It does such a good job parodying Willy Wonka and the Factory as Peter and Brian tour the Beer Factory! I love this one b/c Willy Wonka has always been one of my favorite movies and in this episode they re-do so many scenes from the movie that it's just hilarious. It's great to actually understand what they are making fun of.

One of my favortie ones is the Chuckie Cheese one; it's Stewies birthday and as usual, Peter screws things up and tries to set up some huge backyard thing at the last minute. How is this a parody - because it's so true to life. I go overboard for birthdays but there is NO WAY that I am going to pay someone else to host a party for my kid.
There have been so many good ones like when they did Jackass as well as The A-Team. Then there are the ones that are mixed in with the hopes that those paying attention will get the joke.

Haha, I remember that. Where Peter went to pay the restaurant and ended up screwing it all up. I can see how you could relate to the bday party!
Oh yeah, the A-Team! I loved that one b/c I actually had seen some episodes of the A-Team :) I never saw the Jackass one, unless I just can't remember it.

My faves from the most recent episodes are when Stewie went through the Sesame Street pinball machine (You know, "1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12!") and the Ferris Bueller parody when Stewie is trying to get to the pool ("I shouldn't have milked that landing!")

The parady on Full Metal Jacket when Stewie and Brian end up joining the military. It's hard to pick one I have all the boxsets.

In the movie when Lion-o of the Thundercat's is watching Cheetara in the bathroom through the Sword of Omens, then asks Snarf if he wants to go get high. Also when Peter thinks of he 3 kids in a thought bubble and no Meg, But Boba Fett appears!

The absolute best is when the creepy old neighbor guy with the walker and the old dog is fantasizing about Chris and he sings the entire song Somewhere That's Green from Little Shop of Horrors. I like to sing along, but when I see their disgusting little kids I lose it laughing!

ugh its been so long since ive watched it its hard to remember.
i do remember one i liked though where stewie was in his crib and this birds where on his crib. they looked like B.A. from the A-team. i laughed so hard when i saw that.
oh yeah i cant remember if this was family guy for sure but i think it was where peter and this shadow are sounding out words like they used to do on some old kids show. i think it was the electric company
