Can we give negative rating in mylot to those people who are giving unrelated an

I am receiving responses unrelated to the discussions.I am really fed up with it. I do not why people are giving such reply without reading the discussion or without understanding the discussion.Some replies are too crazy .Can we rate such responses as negative? If we give negative rating to a person, then the person know who gave negative rating to him/her? is this possible? If he/she knows it ,then definetely give our discussions negative rating. please advise.

Yes you can give a neg. to someone, we have the option to do that. I usually rate everyone with a + except those that have nothing to do with the topic, then I usually leave them blank. I do not think anyone knows how they are rated.

no Mylot decides about the negative ratings, The person will not know. But Mylot decides what the did to receive officaily a negative rating. Neg rates could be a riot. So I suggest to avoid it UNLESS IT IS spam. If off topic,I suggest you report him or her. YOU CAN NEGATIVE RATE. just try to avoid them
