Kombucha users in India seem to be able to ferment the kombucha tea within 24 hours. most sites and books mention 6-7 days of fermenting.
I have found that 24 hours is perfect, and you can pour in a new green tea infusion every 24 hours and drink it the next day.
Excellent sleep quality, energy enhancement noticed.
what is your experience ?

Kombucha Tea a wonder drink
I have been brewing this tea at home for the last 10 years.Myself and my husband drink this tea a cupful every day along with breakfast.we give a gap of a few days, after, say,a month or two as suggested by well known authors on the subject like Dr.Guenther.
we have benefited enormously in improving our general health and also in getting rid of specific and chronic ailments.
i have given away the baby culture to those who were willing to try this miracle cure as an alternative therapy.I have seen them cured and felt enormous pleasure.
Now,on the specific Question of Duration for Brewing 6to7 days in tropical climate and 10days or more in cold climte like winter in Delhi will be ideal. Brewing for only 24 hours may fetch you a good drinkable Tea but not enough for deriving the full benefits from the culture.
This culture,as you know, releases anti oxident and anti biotic properties apart from glucronic acid and folic acid and vitamin B group to name a few.
the main precaution one should observe is
Not to drink on days when you have fever,
Not to drink when there is internal/external bleeding.
i have a blog and a lense at blogspot and SQUIDOO on the subject.
Have you tried this for external application? It does wonders to your skin
