Why do men lie?

Maybe he is telling you the truth... In any case you know he cant chat on yahoo answers, also its very easy to lose track of time when looking through the answers and questions. Theres no deceit involved here. he sat up watching Patriot, a gr8 film with Mel Gibson. Maybe he was just switchin the PC off and decided to ask 1 question, which leads to him answering a question, then another. He sounds like a gr8 guy, your a lucky gal. It isn't just men that lie, sometimes I think the lie hides behind the dream, our wishes and all was just an illusion. The illusion is normality because there is no such thing as normal-you only need to step into somebody elses life to see how the illusion fools the eye and what you believed to be normal was only a lie, an illusion. The truth is alway inside of you but if you want to listen to it or not will be another thing. Far too often we live for the illusion-normal by living in hope. We 'hope' this person is like that', we 'hope' our dreams can come true, we hope others are being honest. At the end of the day that's all we can do, is hope for better, hope for the truth and hope our dreams come true. When and if we discover the truth we then have to either accept the lie and get on with it, or walk away because we want better, we want to do what is right, the illusion has had its mask removed to show us the reality behind the dream-if that dream isn't right for you then you got to decide if want to chance it or break it... But accept it and to allow it does usually mean we are permitting it and a chain reaction can be created-ech link of hurt, more lies and deceit and who is on the hurting end of the chain? Don't just think of now, think ahead and before coming to your conclusions consider if you are being deceived by your own thoughts-maybe he did watch a movie but chat too-does it bother you him chatting to others. He could have been honest but just did two things at once, boy sometimes I'm like a headless chicken doing many things at once-maybe he did watch a movie too

I think that they con themselves into beliving that if they keep repeating a lie then we will believe them.

Men often lie because they don't realize how easy the truth is and how easy things would be if they just ask for what they want.

maybe men wanted to save the relationship.. actually men are prone in lies =)
