Why did J.T have to die?

I saw the new episode on friday and I was so sad. I didn't want anyone to die but J.T did and I'm so sad. He was one of my favorite characters and I'm going to miss him so much. He was always the funny one and he was such an amazing character. I can't believe he is gone, degrassi is going to be missing such an important person. I know that J.T is just a character but I actually started watching this show from the very first episode and J.T. was always there. I really loved J.T he was so sweet and he was a good character. One thing is for sure, degrassi will not be the same without him. I cried when he was stabbed and especially when the doctor told Toby that he didn't make it. I just know that the following episode this friday is going to be so sad. J.T. YOU WILL BE MISSED AND YOUR ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS. As to the actor who played J.T., Ryan Cooley, we will miss you on degrassi and we'll be looking forward to seeing you in other places.
