once again you made me laugh, Yes I agree with you, we should have something here for fun too. Laughing is good for health. And I think inside every intelligent man, there is a hidden stupid man, who wants to have fun, but cannot have it because he has to show the world that he is intelligent, but if he will be allowed to show his stupidity somewhere, I think a good source of entertainment can come out. so go on and do it. Yes I have come across some funny discussions and also some very funny responses which have given me a laugh on mylot which is great if they are funny and there was one on there this morning I couldn't stop laughing at the response, the person that put the response was my sponsor on mylot but it was great and I will let her know how she brighten my day.

actually, your post is not stupid at all, its fun to me, I am also laughing when reading some funny part of your post. in fact, I think mylot lacks humor thread, at least, there are not as many as before. I would like to see more of threads like this. Have a good day.

When I log on in the mornings there seems to be no end of these really 'silly' discussions been started .. they are clearly not silly to the folks who started them .. but for various reasons such as not realising that discussions started in a particular interest don't show what interest they were started under in the email notifications (or if they do I haven't noticed) or if someone asks for instance .. "Why he was dropped" I haven't the foggiest idea what on earth the mean .. and it doesn't help when they add .. What's your opinion ? So please would you make sure we know who you are talking about, what country they come from, and in this case what sport it is .. I cannot and will not bother with something I'd need to track back several posts just to find out what the discusion is about .. and adding that extra information will make the discussion much more interesting to people outside of the small group who do know who you are talking about so you should get more responses .. phew .. .. sorry .. It's just that I haven't enough hours in my day .. I want to try and respond to everyone .. but find I am drawn more to people's discussions where the headers are in good English .. and I'm not trying to offend anyone struggling with English as a second language, but I often can't understand what is being asked of me .. and I do think several people are using online translators .. sadly they don't always translate into correct English and definitely muddle up the phraseology .. so try not to rely on them too much .. And here was a discussion from earlier "did privacy is must with friends?" and this is then repeated in the body of the discussion .. now I am not being down on the author I am sure it is an important topic to him/her .. but I can't begin to think how to answer without either making an idiot of myself by answering wrong or being patronising by saying I don't understand what you've put .. Ohh dear it is so hard sometimes to do the right thing ... and now everyones going to think I am a snooty old so and so .. sigh ...

i have came across this type of stupid questions.some people are asking one word answer. what is question is! who is the ideal cricketer in indian team?. actually in this discussion,they are asking the general knowledge questions.this seems stupid discussion.disscussion should be a topic and it is not to be a general knoledge questions.this what i want to convey.

I also have not gone under such a humourous experienceas yours but as you said meaningless discussions so I would like to report about some of the discussions I have responded to "What's your weight" is there anything to learn new from this discussions and other of about the same type "What is your Height" and again "The name of your antivirus" these all are senseless according to me . I think people are here only to make money... What do you say?

Laughter is the medicine of the soul. It is wonderful to come online feeling miserable and find serious things to talk about but then like a ray of sunshine a nice discussion rears it's head and makes out day better.

I'm surprised at the things people write on online forums - and how important they think they are!! I can ramble on about my dog for hours but I have to remember that it's not so interesting to everyone else. I have also been looking and not always answering cos I do not want to seem rude.

I had one asking "How can I stop my cat from kneading?" Only to find out it wasnt a kitten she was talking about, she's had it for 11 years! A little too late I think...

Oh many and its like you say ,some are fun to read and just try to imagine where this came form ...I was going to let my 2 year old start a discussion some tome ...lol...not !!! but thats what it seems like ...enjoyed your post...I try to find a joke every once in a while to just break the monotany( brain not working) :) ...make me smile and then I can answer a few more post ...

I have read some pretty silly stuff too. Some of them are humorous but others are just plain rediculous. Why do people post nonsense things? I have had a lot of fun reading the silly and the serious. I'm always telling my husband about the things I read on here. I have responded to some of the silly things just for the heck of it. They lighten things up around here.

even i have com eacross where stupid scraps...not as funny as the ones u mentioned...like why do u have zips....ha ha ha i came across a scrap saying why do we have hairs on oyr head????? and teh answers were, so that we can comb or being bald doesnt look nice... and the most stupid ones... its fun reading them and blv it or noteveryone likes fun...even the people who write most serious scraps

i love stupidity..cos i am the epitomy of it lol..i think cos life is too serious..and i have been through so much hell that a bit of light refreshment is needed... i have a small brain too and am not very academically endowed i'm afraid..you yo may put me into the stupid sector lol..

ya man. these type of topics are very common. but hey these r not unwise...if a person wonders why women have zip in their jeans, it seams to be a very wise question (lol). well i had never thought of it before...really, why should women have zips?!!! i really gotta know the answer!

Never really considered this a serious site. Only some serious discussions. There is a jokes discussion topic. Have participated there. Cooking is fun, so there are discussions there, light hearted and openly sharing recipes. Topics on all sorts of pets, ghosts, ufos, kids, relationships, car, video games (these are certainly not serious) Glad you have had some fun! Nothing is really stupid. We all post discussions on our perceptions and feelings. Nothing stupid about those. In actuality I don't find many logical people. What is relavance except inside the discussions? Hope that we all can enjoy the many facets of this earning and learning site!!

Slightly off topic but equally stupid is the habit in the UK of putting up a road sign, after a road has been re-surfaced, saying 'no road markings' I mean, come on, my eyesights not THAT bad that I can actually see that there are no white paint markings on the road!! Do I really need a sign to tell me that? And what about the reverse? Should we have signs up on all the other roads saying 'road markings' just in case we can't see them?

I haven't read any of the posts you are talking about. But I have come across some funny ones. Sometimes I wonder how people come up with some of the things they write. Some are funny though even if they have no relevance to them.

yes i agree with you. There is a whole joke section which i quite often read. Andif i feel like a bit of a giggle and some mindless discussions i look in the s e x section. It is amazing some of the questions asked. Some of them you really hope are just to get responses otherwise there are some very very uneducated people out there (no offence to anyone intended). I think mylot is very good for there being something for everyone....seriouse or light hearted.

I love your attitude! LOL I am the same way...I see some silly posts, but they don't upset me or "turn me off"....I go on and read them and get a good laugh. Everything in life is NOT serious and fun is a wonderful part of life. Have a great day!

hi! im a five-day old user and i've only read a few posts, all of them kinda serious, first one was a relationship problem...it's nice reading love stories but im glad i came across your post...and i agree, laughing makes you feel better...especially if the person who made you laugh is a stranger! and what's good about it is that once you laugh, you can't stop. and that's even better! makes your day!
