If you go to a pet store, you can get fish food specially made for goldfish.

Hi! One food most fish will eat is brine shrimp. You can find it frozen at pet stores. Just thaw a tiny bit (little fish, little tummies) and this will give your goldfish more protein. You could also get some freeze-dried bloodworms (even department stores carry this) and most goldfish will eat those, too. These might be more substantial than the tropical flakes.
