ganguly and utthapa as openers

Yes they can do wonders but i guess we cannot rule out the possibility of virender sehwag..... I think he will be a key member in the Indian world cup team as he is a very very explosive batsman and he is full of talent Also virender sehwag can roll hi arm over just to fit in a few overs of off spin and he is a partnership breaker So i guess India might be better off with playing virender sehwag at top instead of utthappa as he is still new to the international, arena

I don't agree. Because, the same indian team, after faring well against srilanka and SA at home capitulated to WI mainly due to the nature of the pitches there. Ganguly is OK considering his experience, but an unknown entity like uthappa opening in WC is simply not acceptable. Don't be fooled by performance in home pitches. Asking uthappa to open in WC in WI is like placing a jackfruit on a sparrow's head and expecting it fly high with it.
