Would Shahajahan afford constructive TajMahal in the present times?

The rising cost of construction and increasing bank lending rates on housing loans, makes me ask this question. Also would the government easily provide him the required land? Would the environmentist give clearance easily? Would it be possible for him, to build TajMahal today?

It would not be possible at all for all the reasons mentioned by you, besides the other requirement of skilled and dedicated manpower
