Are single parents better parents than having both parents / myLot

I am a single mother, and find it so much easier to be only one parent. Is this so or is it just in individual cases. I left my daugther's father when I was 5mnths pregnant, and he had no involvement in our lives.

i dont think so that single parent is better than having both parents .

maybe not, but my experience is if I say no, it remains no. I agree, it must maybe be nicer to have both, but then both must be active in the childs life.
