how to increase my star rating?

hey guys.. it has been three days and i saw many members with ratings up to nine. can u please suggest me how can i increase my star rating from 0-9. can i see my star rating above my tag? do highest star raters earn more then other who have less star rating? plz tell me about the rules of star rating and how one can increase?

u can increase the mylot rating by posting more. actually star is given after 100 posts. so first u reach 100 and then if u keep on posting enough content then u will definitely reach 9 star rating. have a gr8 mylot day.

The way to increase your star rating is by giving quality answers to discussions. People rate your responses and the more negative ratings that you receive for responses makes your number go down. Same goes for discussions of marked negatively. Also getting best response I believe adds to you your number. The answer is quality answers are rewarded with positive marks.
