stupid things you did for love

Stupid things done for love? How about trying to impress your girlfriend? Does that count. I can't say that it was true love but it was a love of a sort. Anyway we were over at her bestfriend's, boyfriend's house hanging out. When Bill challenged me to stab a knife into a laminated table top and "make it stick". Not wanting to be shown up, srtange how the 16 year old mind works, I grabbed tha knife and slammed it into the table as hard as I could! Well the knife stayed in the table, but I on the other hand severed the tendon of my left pinky. That was 10 years ago and I have not been able to use my left pinky from the first knuckle up ever since.
