When we will be able to travel faster than light... then what??

For past many years we humans are working on the concept of time machine and it's relation to move faster. But the basic is somewhat complicated to understand but its easy if you have some prior idea !! Here it goes: When we travel faster than light then... the light coming from a source to us takes a specific time to travel. And when we move towards that source more than than the speed of light at that moment then we will going to see the light from that source 5 sec prior to what it has emitted. That means we are seeing something ahead of time as the time is nothing but the Time machine concept. This seems a bit hypothetical to understand but its true, but i don't have much information to give it to you. DO anyone has any information related to this ??
