Do you have the habit of smiling when a stranger looks at your face?

I'm afraid I am one of those people who almost always is smiling. As I walk through the shopping centre, or wherever, I smile at everyone. A smile doesn't cost anything and can brighten someone's day. Be happy.

I would usually never smile at a stranger unless he/she is a "stranger-I-know". What I mean by "stranger-I-know" is I've seen this person a couple of time and vice versa. Other than that, if I'm in a unfamiliar territory, I tend to be a bit more reserved. In the event that the new stranger smiles, I would surely smile back but if the new stranger looks at my face, I'll probably just look away.

Depends on person i know or not.....? If I know him sure I will smile as see his face...its realy good and freshens us to make happy others even just by smile...

I am blessed with what they call a disarming smile. There are times when I do look like I have a cloud over my face, but in general my pleasant demeanour draws a lot of smiles. A smile costs nothing and spreads goodwill and cheer around. But I am careful about establishing eye contact, particularly in unsafe places. But my general principle is present a smiling face and the world smiles with you.

Depends on the day. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I try to, but it's hard to get past the impulse reaction to look away when someone realizes you're looking at them.

most of the time i wait for them to smile at me first. actually i stare myself a lot to other faces that interest me. some stare back, some smiles.. when i stare and they smiled while i seriously stare, i like that -- it makes me happy too and giggle sometimes.

no i donot smile first if a stranger is staring at me. Whether it is a girl or a guy, i would always wait for that person to initiate first. Yes if the gesture from their side is kind enough , i would also do the same thing then.
