i have several blogs. but i only updated one blog. i have been once asked by my friend for a question, "should we have more than one blog? is it important?" my answer is, we dont have to have more than one blog if we dont want to. and its not important either we have one or more blog on the internet. having a blog on the internet is quite good to help us improving our writting skill, in my opinion.

I've had a few blogs over the years, but only one I have really updated over any extended period (since about 2002.)
I don't think it really matters if someone has more than one or not. I personally like the idea of more. I've had one before for music related ramblings, crafty things, graphics etc apart from the normal personal one. I love the idea of those. I like all the posts in one place on the theme and not clogging up friends with interests that they don't really care about. However, I've never really been very good at keeping them active. Too lazy to log in and out of multiple accounts and not enough hours in the day.

Not necessarily but theres no rule saying you cannot have. the problem with having multiple blogs is updating them. It would be time-consuming updating each of your blogs.
It does help writing skills.
Personally I feel we should blog about something important which others can make use of. But having a blog of our own lives is interesting too.

I too have many blog but I blog only at one site. I have one for personal, one for tech news and so on. But the irony is that I use only the tech blog. Its gives me good returns though. Beside I believe that my english has improved a lot now..

I have four blogs and I keep them updated regularly as I am trying to get into some paid blogging sites, and they have certain requirements that must be met before they will approve them. One of the requirements is that you have to actively post on your you blog for a period of ninety days.

I have created a few blogs on the internet. My latest blog is about my web collection...I think i will stick with this blog only and try to get traffic for it. The blog is about sharing with the visitor of my web collection, pictures, recipes, money making site, article, community site, and places interest in my place. I agree with you, by blogging we can improve our writing skill.
Feel free to drop a visit to my blog at -

Yes,I have a blog on the Internet. You are right it improves our writing skill, but then this is useful if someone visits your blog.Or else who is going to see it.And if you have one good updated blog you don't need to have one more.

i dont think that a blog is useful just because it dont have any visitor. coz our reason for blogging isnt just to get a lot of visitors but also to share our story to other there. so i dont really agree with that point. else i think i have the same thought with you :)

I have a blog myself. The way I see it, I rather have one amazing blog as opposed to several not so amazing blogs.
I tend to like to focus my energy into one task rather than several different ones.

I have like three or so blogs online. I do not know how it happened really. I suppose I met random people online and they had blogs at certain websites, and encouraged me to join. Sometimes I write in all three, but I do agree that they help improve writing skill.

I have two current blogs. I keep one that I update with just whats happening with me twice a week on myspace.com/monkeywriter I also have one that I update ANY time I feel like it with feelings and stuff going on and stuff like that. More details. Thats at livejournal.com under the name monkeywriter. I tend to use that name a lot :)) I got addicted to LiveJournal in Oct 2001 I began and my sister DOESNT get how I can just tell things going on and feelings for ANYONE to view it but I got so used to it, its a natural thing to do. More than one is fun, but hard to keep them up. So DONT try too many you might go insane! ;)

I have an online blog that I've rarely updated nowadays, but posting here on myLot might get me to update it again. :) Writing can be a great mental exercise and a great way of expressing feelings and emotions. I love to read, and it only seems natural that if one loves to read, one should be able to write as well, much like if you love to eat, you should be able to cook, harhar!

I have one blog. I struggle to update just the one! So, that is all I personally need. I agree that blogging is great to help typing and writing skills. And you never know when you might find someone who really enjoys your blog.
