what are your worst diy disasters? in my old flat i tryed to redecorate my sons room. as i was stripping the wallpaper off all the plaster started to come off as well...so i decided to just knock the whole wall down...what a complete mess, i had to get a guy in to put up plaster boards and then plaster on top of them...he told me i should never be let loose with a hammer :-(
