this is the second sports anime that i have loved. the first one was slamdunk. i really like the fictional tennis here. although i was told that some of the techniques here could actually really be executed in real life! i just like ryoma and the rest of the seigaku team. i love karupin too! i want a cat like that!!!

I also like this anime =) actually my first was hajime no ippo then followed by slamdunk...anyway this anime really is very entertaining since you could see the characters evolve even when they are playing in a game or just practicing besides that it also made me to become curios about the sport tennis

Haha it's a good thing to found another person who likes kamen rider black ^_^, actually I miss kamen rider black since they did not finished airing it in ibc 13

yeah... all of them continue to improve themselves and even conquer their weakness and develop a new technique. pareho tayo! i became intereseted too with tennis! i even have my own tennis idol which is rafael nadal, the world's #2. ^__^ my wishes now are to be able to play tennis and to watch rafael nadal in the wimbledon! that would be heaven!!!
i like knockout too. that's the kind of boxing worth watching. ^__^ i wish real life boxing would be like that. ^__^;;

you could try to watch at least one episode in youtube ate. ^__^ if ur into sports anime, episode 1 is enough to get u interested with the series.

for me this is the third sports anime, the first slamdunk second is hungry heart and the third is price of tennis. i like ryoma for it's twiste serve it's cool you know urgghhhh and for the other i think than ryoma is fuji for his 3 skill (i forgot)

yeah! yoma's twist serve is really cool! and dangerous! ^__^ i think his drive B and cool drive are cool too! i wonder if these techniques can really be done in real tennis... i like fuji too! (i like all the members of seigaku tennis club. ^__^) fuji is really a genius!

I love this series too! I've heard lots of good things about the Slam Dunk manga and anime as well -- I want to start it soon! I've also read a bit of Whistle (about soccer?). I think what makes Prince of Tennis really great is that it sort of goes beyond being just a typical sports story. I love the characters and their little side-stories and interactions.
I've read articles about how Tezuka's zero-shiki drop shot can be done in real tennis! So neat! I haven't watched a lot of live-action tennis games, but I feel like after PoT, they might pale in comparison, haha.

i love the side-stories too! especially the zany tenipuri! very funny! ^0^ tezuka's zero-shiki drop shot could be done in real tennis???? that's amazing! how could someone make the ball dont bounce??? ?.? i havent watched the PoT live action but im planning too. im just waiting for my friend to give a copy of the dvd to me. ^__^ i've seen the trailer though and man its awesome! i like the special effects they've done there. my friend told me that ryoma's voice there was dubbed by the one who dubs the voice in the anime.
