unfortunately i am divorced..i don't like divorce but after 11 years of a very difficult marriage i had to finish it..i am old fashioned and befire i met my new husband physically i got him to take me a place to marry me..just a ceremony of vows..for me marriage is a pledge i don't take lightly..only thing is both poartners have got to feel the same..i am sad that i am a part time mum to my son..though we are very cloes..i tought him the value of love and family from day one..i think both men and women are confused in what role they must play now..now with women earning their own incomes and less dependant ecponoimically on men ..they automatically have more say in how things can be done..which has thrown our male counterpsrts a bit off balance form their previous status quo..but still it should be a partnership not a battleground..when we get that right..everything will fall into place..

my own idea of family is a lovely couple, married in church, with all the children GOD will send them....you can say this is my dream because it doesn't exist yet and because I'm perfectly aware of the problems of everyday life...therefore, I think that the choice between marriage, divorce and living together depends on the personal situation of everybody...I think we must be very sensitive and not judge when love affairs are concerned..the real problems come with children who pay for their parents' mistakes

To each their own, but I am glad that I am married. 25 years as a matter of fact. Marriage may be considered out dated, but then again so am I.
