these "most people" that you are referring to, belong to a generation ten years younger than me. These youngsters are computer savvy. Almost every household in the cities have computers at home, so that these kids have easy access to the internet as well. And one thing more... Filipinos are friendly, and are fond of adventures. But since they could not possibly go out of the country due to financial constraints, they prefer being online to meet people.

since many of our indians are not aware of internet...our india s a huge country and it's not like phillipines...it's not an easy one to educate people in india...many people are not even went to school in india...then how can we make them to use yahoo chat..

yes lots there from philipines..i find peopls are very active there...even i have a freinds from there in chat..nice to see peoples from other culuture...not only in chat....even in my lot....filipinos are more in number...i can tell they have general interest with indian peops...

because filipinos or pinoys are the salt of the earth. they are everywhere

probably because it's the "in" way of communicating with people here. if you don't have YM here, that's kinda like weird for us. well, in my case, it's kinda weird if you dont have YM. hahaha. all my friends and family use YM everyday. :)
