Do you feel jealous when your classmates have higher grades than you ?

I remember from when I was in highschool that I would always feel jealous when I heard of someone getting a better mark than me (most times this would be over half the class, haha). Anyways, what really got me fuming was the fact that some people wouldn't even have to study and they would still do well on the test! I on the other hand, would study my butt off and still not do all that great. I think that part of the reason that my marks weren't that great is because I was easily distracted, thus wasn't learning to my full potential.

I dont get jealous. I just get worried about hoa am I going to tell MY GRADES too my parents!! :D. coz my parents usually ask about how much others scored. This becomes a problem for me then. But also it forces me to do better in academics.

hi bovirada! Welcome to MyLot! During my college years and high school years whoever among my classmates got a higher score that me I don't get jealous I took it as a challenge that on the next exam I will be one of the highest.

its normal to feel that but i never got jealous because it just means that they did better than me.maybe they studied harder,knew the answers to the questions which id did not know.so i wont be jealous of them.

No I am not jealous but when i help someone who was got best grades finaly than me. I am hungry because it's me do all the thinks and he correct one mistake i do and i don't tell me. But when someone has got best grade than me i congratulate him or her. But i don't like some classmates who has got B and tell that was a bad grades.

i am never jealous of anybody for any reason.this is not beacause that i am the best or something,but i never try to beat somebody,i always set up a goal for myself and try to get that,thats it.

I get jealous when i know that i am doing my best and we are almost have the same score in quizes and exams.But when i know that he is more good than me, then why should i?

no..why should i be? we have our own capability...u just have to maximize it in order to succeed..nothing is impossible..if they get on top, u can also be on top..just believe in yourself and be what you are. Also, you just have to learn to accept on what you are and what you have..and be happy. you don't have to be jealous on somebody's achievement...they get it because for sure they work hard for it..so, you have to work hard as well in order for you to get what they've got and for all you know you'll get more than what they've had...you'll see.
