If you could create the "Ultimate Band".. who will be your musicians?

I would put two guitarists. Steve Vai & Paul Gilbert. On Bass, Billy Sheehan. Scott Weiland of STP is on vocals. Jimmy Chamberlin of the Smashing Pumpkins on drums. I'd Pick Billy Corgan, John Lennon, & Paul McCartney as songwriters.

Keith Emerson on keyboards,Carl Palmer on drums, Jon Anderson from Yes, Chris Squire on bass and Steve Howe. I know that's just members of two bands but that's my choice. Oh, and Alan Parsons would bew the producer.

wow great topic i would pick up kirk hammet(Metallica) and John Petrucci(Dream Theater) to play the lead,Dave Mustaine(Megadeth)to do the vocalling and the rythm,Jason Newsted on the bass and Nick Menza on the drums.this would be my kind of ultimate rock.:-)

i'd say three guitarists joe sat, john petrucci, paul gilbert, mike portnoy as drummer, bassist from dreamtheater. they'll steal the show man!!!!!!

Tori Amos on Keyboards/Piano, Jeff Loomis (nevermore) on Lead Guitar, Dave Mustaine (megadeth) on rhythm guitar, Warrel Dane (nevermore) on vocals, with Thom York (radiohead) as backing vocals, Dave Grohl (foo fighters) on Drums, and Flea (red hot chili peppers) on bass.
