Where does evil live - mind, or flesh?

An experiment I read years back reported of a group of medical professionals who in trying to arrive at a definitive answer to the question on the official residential address of the much maligned 'evil', embarked on a risky experiment. Somebody in their league volunteered to be the subject. He acquisced to having his hands both amputated and be replaced with that of the hands of a ferocious murderer. After a time, the volunteer doctor experienced sensations which brought him to the brink of murder. I didn't personally give much hoot about the report as substantial enough for valid scientific supposition. But really, it had given us a glimpse of the truth to the question - where does evil live, in the mind or in the flesh?
