Would you quit your dream job because you hate your boss?

Hello, I just want to know your views about conflicts arising from employees at work especially with the boss. What if you are already there in your dream job, you love everything that you do except for your boss, will you still continue your work?
Sooner or later, I will have to work and I am the type of person who will fight for what I feel, I mean, if somebody hates me or scold at me. Is that a proper or improper thing to do?

If for no other reasons than for spite! LOL
I have seen too many places where the employees worked there much longer than a boss. So I would see it like this, bosses come and go, literally, but how often do you find a dream job?
I think I could stick it out, even if the boss was the biggest jerk in the world.

I don't think that I would quit a job that I really enjoyed and was good at because of a new boss that I didn't care for. Whenever there are changes, such as a new boss or new employees, there are going to be periods of adjustment and there may very well be hard feelings and new people that you don't get along with well. They key is to remember why you are there. It is NOT to be friends with the boss or even your co-workers. You can be polite and friendly with them, but you do not have to be their friends. You are there to do your job, and if you do that well, you should have no troubles.

I got the idea, be good to them but if you don't want to consider them as real friends it's ok, as in don't bother yourself too much if they dislike you.

If I'm on your place I will show who i am and I'll do what's right... but if ever I am scolded with a boss and I think that's my really fault, I'll accept it and avoid that fault to happen again...

I'm no quitter. =) I may hate my boss but I can't get to hate my dream job. =) Working on a field I really like is more than enough to overshadow the burden of having a not-so-likable boss. =) So for me, bosses like that are no problem. I get paid for doing what I like, how can it get better than that? =)

You have a good point there, as long as you are happy and being paid for doing what you want, everything will be just fine.

i am not a quitter! if that is my dream job and the only problem is the boss, i won't give it up. maybe if the boss cant handle me anymore, then she can give up her career but not mine.

It seems to me that it is entirely possible that this job in question would no longer feel exactly like a 'dream job' if your boss were really driving you crazy. I mean, you wouldn't be having much fun there if your boss were breathing down your neck every day and making life miserable. SO even if you were in a job that was in a field that you truly loved, I can't see it feeling like a dream job anymore if this boss was really around all the time bothering you and making your job feel tougher and your work day a misery. In that case, it seems to me like it would be easier to quit. On the other hand, if your boss is only around once in awhile, it might still feel worth it to stay. it would really depend a lot on the particular situation. ^_^
