Okay, don't laugh. We all dream of winning it big in the lottery. We all play the game of, "what if." What would you do if you won? Do you think that having a lot of money will make your life better or will just be a burden?

I thought about this a lot in the past. Admittedly, mostly on the few days before payday, when I'm really broke!
I don't think that the money would be a burden at all, depending on who knows you have it. If everyone knew, you would be inundated with begging letters. I would just stay nice and quiet, and retire REALLY early!
I would be quite happy if I had a house with some land around it, no mortgage to pay, and the equivalent of an average salary to cover my bills and expenses.
Many people I've discussed this with, say that they would get bored and would need to do some volunteer work or start a business to keep them busy. I disagree with that. I have plenty of hobbies that I can't pursue due to a lack of free time. I could happily live out the rest of my days, keeping myself busy with fishing, gardening, walking the dog etc. i might travel a little more, but it's not really my thing so I wouldn't go over the top.
