Is it possible to forgive people who don't ask for forgiveness.

Someone said "it doesn't really matter to me now, I have forgiven him in my heart" I have to move on and get rid of this burden in my heart. Do you think this is possible? Have you been through this kind of experience?

Everyone's entitled with their opinions right? .. Mine is the other way around. I just got a different pont of view on these. . I hold grudges. If a person did something bad to me, i don't easily forgive not unless he was sorry. But if he didn't ask for forgiveness, then it's impossible for me to do that. That's how it is for me. But don't get me wrong here, i'm not the type of person full of hatred and anger. That's just what my mind says regarding to that matter, learned from experiencessssss!

I think it's possible! Life must go on and I think having too much burden in our hearts is not helpful so we need to get rid of it. I prefer to say sorry at least so I know I am forgiven.
