As a ChaCha Guide and a responsible adult, I can say that no, you may not be a Guide. You need to be a US citizen or at least have a work permit if you aren't one. Getting someone else to open a bank account and take your money is iffy, and anyway, it might end up in you losing the money to fraud. And for $200 a month, you'd then have to pay taxes here as well.

You can join as a Guide if you are from the USA, 18+ and no dialup. At some point they will hire non-US citizens

It is now only for US citizens. You must provide a Social Security number and fill out a w-9 form for taxes. Also you must be able to use a local US bank account, where the money is paid. Hopefully they will open the doors to other countries one day. There is always a need to do this in other languages and once they get all the kinks worked out on the US side they should consider expanding to other countries too.
