No, I don't. I don't believe in capital punishment, no matter the reason.

WTC hit by two planes - America retaliated.
Japan hit pearl harbor- America retaliated.Every justified these actions of the US.
There was a threat to his life and so saddam retaliated. He didnt kill those people for fun or to eat them??? He killed even his son in laws as they were a threat to him. He was the President of the country and this is the step any president would take.
All the so called murders took place before the first gulf war during which period Saddam was in good terms with the US and was getting arms from them. So who knows - even the chemical attack was part of the US game who could have tried to experiment with their new chemical weapons. Only Saddam and God could answer this.
A doctor was on duty during the President's visit. He was in the team to attend the President during his tour to a particular place. As it always happen, they were not allowed to move from their place- no food, no water and the above said doctor fainted. The doctor told the press about this.
The very next day he was dismissed from service without any enquiry - for the only reason he spoke something about the president ( which is not so derogatory). This happened in India and no one bothered.
If this had happened in Iraq- Saddam would been accused for this.
Saddam is not god - but not a satan either. He is the best among his contemporaries in the middle east.

100% I think it was right. That man and his "people" are murderers. Not just shooting people, they killed in such a brutal and barbaric way. He did not deserve to live. You want to talk karma? Look at his aid who would killed people by putting them into meat grinders. His head popped off during his hanging!

I agree with his punishment. He took a lot of lives during his life time. His should have been taken from him a long time ago. It could have saved a lot of misery in the world today.

I don't really know. But considering all the crimes he committed and the number of people he ordered killed, I think it is acceptable.. Still, I can't be so sure though.
