So, what happens if you start a discussion on mylot and get no responses?

I have unanswered discussions also and they can be found here on mylot way down the posted discussions or you can go to the unanswered discussion list here at mylot and it will be in there. I try to go there and reply to discussions that never got a response.

This question has been asked several times and the answer of most people is that discussions with 0 responses are not deleted. Sometimes after a few weeks they will surface again and that time you will be surprised, they already have answers. It happened to me with some of the discussions I posted when I first joined showed up later with a few responses. I think they are being circulated again and flashed briefly in the pages.

it does not matter to me, i just make sure that the next ones are greater and i have some great feed back to read. its hard to have a good one all the time.

They dont get deleted. They just stay there. Recently though quite a few people are taking the trouble to go back to others previous discussions and answer the ones with 0 responses. Ive also joined the 0 response brigade but sometimes it can lead to a bit of confusion as generally once I respond others start responding to the discussion as well and people start wondering how 3 or 4 months they are getting so many responses to that discussion.

I don't think it gets deleted because eventually someone might search the tags that your discussion has. They might be deleted once a year or something since myLot needs space for all these discussions.

I havn't ben here long but mine have not been deleted but I hate to look lol xx

I'm not sure if it gets deleted or not, but I do have two discussions that I started that so far, has no responses. One was from quite a while ago, so if they get deleted, it must take quite some time! The other is pretty new... I asked if anyone knows where to buy a necklace like the one from the movie, "The Illusionist." It's a very cool locket!

i don't think it really matters, i have one discussion where no one has responded as of yet, but it hasn't been deleted.
