My sister is shacked up with her boyfriend and has left her *&&^%&^%*^ dogs here. I love dogs, please don't think I don't, these&*%&^^( are making me crazy! They literally eat the walls! They eat clothes, shoes, you name it, they eat it. The only thing they do that makes me laugh is that are scared sh*tless of the cat. They keep breaking their chains and we keep having to bring them into the house and they show their gratitude by eating the house! I am getting really pissed! Any suggestions?

honestly this is a simple case. the dogs have establish dominance in the house. You have to take it back. A simple way is when the dog starts with a target behavior give a stern NO. dont yell dont repeat just one stern NO. Use ur best drill seargent voice. when the dog doesnt respond make the dog summit to u. that is done with by quickly fliping the dog on its back and puting ur had around the thoat. not roughly but not gently dont squeese but apply enough pressure that the dog feels you. while doing this look the dog directly in the eyes. hold this for 10 -15 seconds. You will probly hae to do this many times before the dog realises u are the dominant figure in the house. also do the same when walking the dog dont let the dog run around and lead u u lead the dog and remain firm. U didnt mention how often u walk the dogs but even with a back yard they will need a good hour a day at least to help curb extra energy and it also provides time to learn who is in charge.

I have done this. I have had dogs all of my life. These dogs are like human teenagers. They look you right in the eyeand continue to do the thing they were being corrected for. My sister has spoiled these dogs rotten. They are more like her children than her pets. No dog of mine has ever acted like this. I don't beat animals, you just raise them up knowing who the boss is and everything is fine, if you don't you get these %&$%^^ dogs.

Have you tried calling your sister to find out what she does?
Have you tried giving the dogs valium?
Have you tried giving the dogs xanax?
Have you tried getting more cats?
Have you tried moving?
That's about all I have for you Julia ~Donna
