I've lived in this little place Called Muskogee, Okla for exactly one year now. Since the very first day I've had people call and have the wrong number. The thing is they insist they are calling the correct number. I don't think there is a day goes by that I don't get a call for someone else mainly the hospital. I know everybody everywhere gets a wrong number call but does anyone get one or two or three on a daily basis? I'm very cranky because I recieved one early this morning and when I told them this is the wrong number they just hung up and no apology especially for an early moring call. What go me they called right back. I said this isn't the number you are looking for the lady proceided and asked me if Ann wasn't there. I said no, you have the wrong number again. She said this isn't the Seizmores. I said no. No apology. Just hung up! Woke my daughter up so it's going to ba lovely day of cabin fever since it's snowing. I think people don't bother to memorize phone numbers anymore since cell phones and even home phones can store numbers or all they have to do is look at the caller ID and push redial. There is only 3 people that know we even have a home phone. Me, my hubby, and my mom. Noone else seems to care. Anyway thanks for hearing my rant. What is the rudest or strangest calls you recieved? I can go on for days with this topic.

We don't have a house phone anymore. We have three cell phones instead. Adding a phone is only 10 bucks and was great for the older kids had functions to go to.
But when we had the house phone, we were constantly getting wrong numbers everyday!
And yes, I had those horrible hang ups too.
I think the funniest was when someone called me and didn't realize they had called the wrong number! The person asked me how I was doing. I answer the generic, "Fine thanks. And you?" The person gave the normal response and then asked what I was doing. I don't remember what I was doing at the time...but I gave the Nothing much and just hanging out with the kids type of answer. And then the person caught one. LOL
And asked my name. My response, "How about you tell me because your the one that called me." Of course, the person said immediately that they had called the wrong number and sorry for intruding. hahahahaha Sorry, but I like to play with the callers when they don't hang up on me.
Just the other day, I received a wrong number call on my cell but it went to the voice mail. Interesting...if the guy would have listened to me talk about puppies on my voice mail message, then he would have known that I was not his dad. LOL
So, I called him back and when he answered, he realized he called the wrong number and told me that my number was close to his dad's I told I didn't mind...I just wanted to be sure that he called his Dad because he never got the message to call him. ha ha ha ha

That is funny. I like how you carried on with that person. When we first moved here this little old hard of hearing man was trying to get ahold of Angela to move here car out of his drive for some reason I couldn't remember. I know that yelling doesn't help hard of hearing people but what do you do over the phone? I told him this wasn't Angela. He proceded to think he was calling her but I told him once more wrong number. Some way or another he started warning me about some other man who was the worst guy I'd ever meet and he would go get his number to go burn down his house and slas his tires. I just hung up hoping the police wouldn't call me next!
