I am glad that my doctor was able to confirm her diagnosis about my condition as well as to remove as much of the adhesions as possible during the laparascopy using a laser. However, there are nodules at inacessible places which still gave me problems after the procedure. So, I have to go for a depo-provera jab every 3 months to reduce menstrual bleeding and so the pain is under control.

Yea, it seems most people I have talked to, have still had problems after the lap with the laser. I have had 5 of them and the pain never went away... it just was slightly less for a little while. Then I had a lap where used excision, i had relief for about 6 months. which was good. Is the depo helping with the pain? It never seemed to help me. I ended up having a hysterectomy to get rid of my pain, not sure if its gonna work yet, but we will see, only 3 weeks post op.... But I am sure I will be better off. I just wish I had more luck with alternative medicine and getting pain relief...

Hi there. I had the lap done about 5 - 6 years ago and since then I had been having the depo provera jab every 3 months. So far, it seems to be working well for me and there has been no return of the acute pain that I experienced before. I'm sorry you had to have a hysterectomy done but I hope it will solve your problem. The doctor did give me that option too but I opted for the jab first and I'm glad I did. All the best.
