you can take your money out of your e-gold account by trusted 3rd party exchangers that will send you check, bank wire, western union, moneygram, etc for your e-gold.
i can't give you details about paypal as i cannot use it since is not accepted in my country.

I dont have an E-Gold account, but Paypal will put the money in your paypal account and there you can send the funds to your bank account or if you have the Paypal debit card you can go withdraw it out the an ATM or use it anywhere Mastercard is accepted. I preferred to sign up for the card myself, it easier for me, but it depends on your preferences. Best wishes!

e-gold ltd, does not buy or sell digital currency to the public. They have no bank account!
All sales are completed through a third party agent and they are known as a digital currency exchanger. OmniPay is the main exchange agent but there are about 100 others. Please see www.dgcwiki.com

I am sorry to inform you that, account created in India cannot add bank account to their PayPal account. The only option is to request a check but the minimum check you can withdraw is $150.00 USD. So I think it will be better to use the $.00 USD that you have to purchase something.

Paypal will send you a cheque but e-gold i doubt. They dont send you the money as far as my knowledge is concerned. You have to buy a debit card and withdraw the money from the ATM.

From what I understand paypal did arrange on cheque services for certain countries..eg, India was one of the country that can ask for cheque services but they did have their term for minimum balance in your account. E-Gold doesn't provide cheques services and for any earnings in your e-gold account you will need to sign up for some third party independent exchanger in order to withdraws your money in your account.

paypal could do that.
but for e-gold, you have to find a third party to buy or sell your e-gold money.
