someone talked badly about my country, how should i react

as myself and my friend witnessed a foreign lady was calling names about my countries people. i knew she is arrogant and sick and hopeless. but still i didnt want to rebuke, though i did try to put some sence in her head which went like in deaf ears.

No one has to think about other's foolishness!
Foolishness is foolishness at the biggining in the middle and at the end also fooloshness remains foolish!

well she is very insignificant....you love and respect your country it should be good enough forgive the ignorant lady because she just dint know better that way you become superior to her......you dont have to stoop so low.....all you have to do is stand by your ideals..

Back ground of her may be had some sufferings, which may be related directly or indirectly to the people of India. So she may reacted to that adversely and quoted arrogantly against Indians. Hence console her first and get back the earlier scenes and come to conclusion. Because more of foreigners came here with very good image on the India. So they don't come to bad opinion easily.

I would let it go. If you fire back at that arogant person you are just adding fuel to the fire. You know your country. You have your likes and dislikes. Dont pay attention to some of the arrogance on here. Best of luck to you.
