i like a lot the new interface of yahoo, its quite simple to use, that's why i prefer yahoo, but all my friends got a hotmail account, and then send mails to that account, and basically what i like most of hotmail (not hotmail itself) is the messaging function thru the messenger

I use both, but I see I use hotmail less and less. All my windows related communications goto hotmail. Mostly other stuff is shared between Gmail and Yahoo.
All three do a good job of spam filtering. I like Gmail Tagging, I like Yaho's new interface, although it is slower at times.
