This may perhaps seems to apply only to a prievelaged few who made enough. But sometimes We observe that , after all the sweat and toil ,they forget to make use of the money. The money becomes and end in itself. Have you ever noticed?

I do not forget. The money is only a tool for me to live my life. I made it for my living. i do not really understand what you think.. Actually I do not earn more, that is only enough to live from day by day.

That is why I had added a rider to my question .it may seems to be true for a few ? For a labourer who earns and makes a hand to mouth living cannot afford to have that folly . What you have stated is the truth. Money is only a means to an end. But many forget the truth and earn with a passion. By the by how much money is required in Hungary for a comfortable living? $500 a month would be sufficient here for a family of four or five to maintain an average standad of living.

My income is $500. It would be enough only for myself and my son, but only for the most necessary things, you know. The minimal payment in HUngary is about $325/month. Anyway I opened a discussion about a similar topic, please check it.

We live together with my boyfriend from about $1500. We spend a lot to our "new" flat. (for example furnitures, new windows, etc)

People do indeed seem to forget that money should be an enabler. Enable you to go to that party, the wedding, or pay for tuition, braces, graduation gown. Myself, it is for seed and plants for the garden. Food for my children and pets. Even when you have enough one must remember and put money in it's place.

But people often forget to do the same and that deprives the thrill of life. I think it mostly applies to countries like ours where the new abundance could not be digested yet by the old generation.

People do seem to get so wrapped up in making the next penny that they forget to spend a little and have some enjoyment from life and their money .. I've been a little bit like that myself at one time .. my exboyfriend and I went abroad for a holiday 4 times a year .. it was a wonderful time of my life .. but for every holiday I had to work really hard to get the money I needed and to keep my home running .. so I was working flat out .. doing extra shifts, working weekends just to have enough money for the next trip .. I finally had to tell my exboyfriend enough was enough I couldn't make the next trip he was planning .. I was working myself to a standstill .. and was so stressed it would take me practically the whole holiday just to destress .. then of course I was back on the work treadmill and getting stressed again ...

Your story is a bit different. You toiled the whole year to make a vaccation and had a definite objective for the earnings, and do not belong to the group that make money for the sake of money. Of course it was a different dimension to my poser and i do agree that we need not plan to die for a rebirth.

Yes I also noticed that. At first we always think that how much I can earn. But we never thought that how much I can work or what we have to do?

I feel they do not forget why they made money . But People often forget how they made money!?It makes a difference. Money legitimate would be spend wisely and the money illegitimate makes the whole lot of problem in the world.

Yeah. I didn't make a whole lot but what I did make, I will put in the bank and save it up to buy something we really need or put it to a good use in case of an emergency or something.

That is a good habit.I was referring to those who save and never use it and find pleasure in holding the money for ever.
