I have many Muslim friends and family. However, I am not Muslim, I am a Catholic. I can honestly tell you that I don't think it easy to categorize an entire religious group as there are so many people from so many lands that accept Islam as their faith. The Islamic religion is a very good religion. The faith preaches peace, harmony, acceptance, and equity. Of course, as in any religion, there are people who interpret the faith as they wish. The Muslims to which I am well acquainted, with few exceptions, all have the good practices of peace, harmony, acceptance, and equity.

I think if we could all be more accepting of one another - the world would be a much better place. I think that it is important to learn about each other's faith and share our ideas. We can learn so much from each other! The more we share, the more we realize we are more alike than not...Salaam Holakum dear, dear friend.

Cut the wrist of a muslim and blood will flow.
It is no different than the blood of a Jew, Christian, Hindu or Buddhist.
I believe a muslim is a human being like all of us.

Sorry about the double. There seemed to be something wrong and I did not see the post come through the first time.
When this theory was advanced in another forum, an enlightened person came up with the view that the muslim blood was purer because they ate halal meat, washed and prayed five times a day for the last many generations.
Is there any basis for this belief?

There is no special treatment for muslims other than non muslims. They are the simple people like others. Some misinformations has spreaded over the world about them by the media. It is the responsobility to all the people to "search the truth" and decide their ownself what the teaching of Islam.

I agree with you samim sir, we suppose to search the truth before goes for any judgement. But do you think that today, people really know the truth, i think people more belive in what they see in the media. Media make sense to their judgement. How about that?

Media is the most important resouce for information today such as tv, radio and internet. But this was manipulate by one side. The media telling the truth, and even add untruth thing, how should we know then. How can we complain about this discrimination. Media was a manipulation for war purpose. I agree with you, this not fair, i don't know how fair enough for we satisfy for this matter. Is there a way we can change the bias com from the media my friend sir? Today action speaks louder right...

My post were not focusing indiscriminate or something else, but the way other religous look at moslem. Correct me if i got wrong :)

I realy have deep feelings of love for the muslims however I do feel they are being enslaved and misled by there religion wich I after studying and reading the quran i feel is wrong and promotes hate and violence towards others (unbelievers) as long as they follow this path they and everyone else on earth are doomed to missery!

Linking Laziness and a particular religious people to that human trait is not proper. Laziness is not restricted to a particular religion, it is a human trait. Now, in any case, if you want to link that characteristic to the people in a particular culture, I might say you might be able to do that. I say that because people in different cultures have different lifestyles and other people might think that those people living such a lifestyle are lazy. And probably it is right in some sense, I mean when you compare with other cultures. But even in that particular culture you find different people, some lazy and some active. It is not fair to say that muslims are Lazy, as such.

I didn't mean to say such word lazy focusing on moslem. I take that word just for the example what might other people do think about moslem people. How this matter affecting their life or whatsoever. Anyway don't get wrong with my words :) and really appreciate your opinion. I do think like yours, we cannot mark certain thing in religious way, if it's a culture then it goes for another story....happy lotting day

Moslems are faithful to their religion ...they bring up their children in strict religious environments and they practise what they preach their faith is not lukewarm and they have incorporated the teachings of the prophet Muhammad into their day to day living....however as with Christianity...sects have formed which are extremist ....but apart from these the common moslem is a religious God fearing man just like any one else....
