So it is TOP US News today. Two men were actually ARRESTED for "planting" suspicious "devices" in Boston. OK, look, anyone who mistakes this blinking LED sign of Moonie (a character on Cartoon Network's funny show Aqua Teen Hunger Force) for anythign threatening in any way should be sent to counseling. Instead of apologizing to their city for the major mistakes and disruptions, city officials are arresting citizens and blaming Turner Broadcasting and Cartoon Network for everything. SHAME ON YOU BOSTON! I just cannot believe what an idioting "police state" our country is becoming. Sad... just sad indeed.

Ok, I agreed with you about the overreaction until you mention a "police state". A POLICE STATE?!?! They were just too cautious, it has nothing to do with a police state or dictatorship.

New, so-called "anti-terrorism" laws grant police liberties and powers that were not present before. That could be viewed as a step in the direction of a police state or Authoritarianism. Certainly it is not that way but turning that direction. I mentioned nothing of dictatorships.

Yes, it's beyond dumb. The public needs to let it be known that it is NOT the fault of anyone but city officials of Boston for all the troubles. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070201/ap_on_re_us/suspicious_devices
