Soccer has always been off of my radar screen so to speak. Now I have a very limited exposure to it through my 4 year old's team. I can see the appeal, sort of, but I'm sure it's much better when the participants are over 4 feet tall and can remember which goal to score into!

I don't like football, I love football. It's the most popular game in the world, and with good reason. Why is it beautiful? You just gotta watch it to know. It's the way the ball is passed on from team mate to team mate without touching it with your hands, with swiftness and precision, and the way the goals are scored. It's the tactics, the techniques, and different styles of play, and the overall entertainment value it offers. If you've ever watched Ronaldinho or Thierry Henry with the ball, you could see poetry in motion.

i love soccer. you have to work together, if you don't like someone on the team or the coach you usually don't play good on that team, but if you were on a team with friends and you like everyone then you play better because you know their style of play.
