When was the last time you moved?

My children and I just from Florida to Missouri last year and I can't wait to move back down. It was nice to get away for a while, but since an ice storm hit this year and we had a week without power I've deciced to go home. I'd rather face a week without power after a hurricane than after an ice storm, at least I can still take a cold shower and be warm.
How about all of you? Was your last move as big a mistake? Or did you find the right place to go?

I've never moved. Wish I could, though. My neighborhood has really gone downhill.

2 years ago my kids and i moved to our new home
i hate moving
i will end up moving one more time.... hopefully only 1, when i moved to alaska for good!

I moved a couple of states away from my state of birth on June 28, 2004 and I have been in this same state every since. It was really rocky for me when I first moved. Had a hard time adjusting, but once I got into the croove things just started working out and since the cost of living is less here I decided to stay instead of running back home. I go about once a month or once every other month to go and visit my family.

About 6 months ago we bought ahouse and moved to Alabama. It's the best move we have ever made. The kids weren't happy at first but they have adjusted and love it here now. The small town life is definatly easier to handle. I think all in all we found the perfect place for us.
