I would love to home school my children only im affraid they would not let me teach them or i may even get lazy and slack on the studies with them. I would like to give it a try anyhow.

I think you can do it. How old are you're children? My wife actually split up the curriculum between the computer & text books.

I think if you're homeschooled you will most likely learn more than from a public school, but one thing you can't get from homeschooling is your social skills. The only way you can develop social skills is to talk to others, and it's usually better for you to talk to people around your age.

well that is true the social skills, but that needs to be added into the curriculm. What I mean is that you need to count that into their life. The best part is that you as a parent have control of that and not in a manipulative way. What you as an adult hang around your children hang around. Life does come back in full circles.

I think homechooling is very bad since it's in school you learn all those valuable lessons about social life, I think homeschooled kids risk getting behind socially.

That is what most people say about homeschooling. Truly homeschoolers do not lack the social skills that most people think. My opinion is that those who attend school lose out in developing their real person so to speak. The influence in a public school is less education and more conforming to social standards that are didctated. There is not the opportunity for a child to grow up learning they realy are and find them selves a shadow of everyone else views.
