What's the worst date you've ever been on?

Mine was when I went to a Chinese restaurant with this guy who spat bits of rice out while he was talking to me. I ended up with rice all over my top. I was horrified and made excuses not to meet up with him again.
My second worst was when I went on a blind date with this guy. We went to a pub and I was the only one doing the talking. It was so uncomfortable. He was obviously not impressed with who I turned out to be, but didn't even have the manners to at least engage in conversation, just looked into his pint. When I was finished my drink I told him I had to go. He didn't even walk me to my car. Creep!!

I would say my worst date was when my friend set me up with this guy. He took me to the movies, but all he did was chew is gum he chewed it so hard that i could not even hear the movie. I told him that I would be right back,I'm going to the bathroom. But I did not go to the bathroom I left and walked home. Never saw him again.Never go on a blind date.

That is too funny! I guess that meeting someone at the movies for a blind date is the right idea. If you don't like what you see, you fake a need to pee.

Yeah, those sound pretty awful. But sure make good stories.
As for me, can my worst also be one of my best?
I was 17 and dating a guy who was 24. Well, we went parking down by some lakes in the next town. Just as things were really beginning to get good. A cop car pulled up.
Well, I ended up in the driver's seat (of his car) and the cop came over, shined his light into the fogged up window and asked us to get out of the car.
To my horror-it was the father of a guy I had recently dated!!! I threatened to call my parents because I was out with an older guy. When I said they knew-he said I bet they don't know what you are doing.
Thank God, he just told us to move on. But the guy I was with was one of my first loves, so it was both a good and bad date.

I was supposed to go to dinner with this guy I had just started seeing. I show up (early too) and he had already eaten!
I asked him why he made it a dinner date if he wasn't going to wait for me. He told me that he figured I could just eat while he waits.
WTF?
I just told him that I thought that was weird and that I wouldn't be seeing him anymore.

I went on a first date with this guy and he mentions marriage and moving in, and I just want to run for the door. Do not mention those things on a first date, it scares people.

I took a girl to the movies for our first date and the movie we saw..."The Crying Game". The scene where it was revealed that the girl was actually a man was awful....my date looked like she wanted to crawl out of the theater, and must have thought I was some kind of freak for choosing that particu;ar movie (I had no idea, had just heard it was really good)...needless to say, there was no date #2

Oh no. I remember that bit in the movie. It was totally cringeworthy.

Oh that is sooooooooooo easy. He talked about this woman he was in love with but she didn't know it and she had emigrated to Australia.
He talked about her all night.
He compared my choice of food and drink to her, and everything was her her her.
At the end of the evening he asked if he could see me again lololololol
Yes, I am a good listener, but I only put up with that because I KNEW I was never ever going to meet up with HIM again (and yes, we went Dutch, no man pays for me, my rules!).

lol. I suppose I am too English and reserved lol. I must admit I was pretty fed up by the end of the evening but when he said he wanted to see me again I felt like recommending the Samaritans!
Good on you for having the nerve to treat the man with contempt he deserved!
Don't you find though that a lot of men recently out of relationships tend to woffle on about their ex's when they are supposed to be on a date as opposed to out with the boys on a sympathy trip?
By the way, did you finally get a decent date that lasted into a friendship?

You should have broken that rule for one time with him, because you deserved it after all that ranting about his ex. I had the same experience qith a blind date. All he talked about was his ex-girlfriend. I left him still whining in his drink as I went to the bathroom via the exit and took a bus home.

I hate it when a guy that supposedly likes you talks about another woman. One time I liked this guy and (I thought) he liked me. We lived a couple hours apart so we never went on an actual date, but he would call me. And he would talk about his 'friend' in Canada. She said this, she did that, yadda, yadda, yadda. After three weeks he called and said sorry, but I just wasn't the girl for him. I said no kidding, I knew that along time ago.
P.S. He married her a couple of years later.

You should have known such buddies well enough before trying to enjoy their company. You just can't comply the call of all and sundry. It is most amusing to note that you ended up with rice all over your top!. What about the second time? Didn't he order any rice that day? Beware henceonwards. Experience enriches our knowledge.

The worst date I ever went on, was also one of my first. I think it was when I was like in 9th grade and back then it was cool to still roller skate and go to the rink. Well, that is where he took me. I had been skating pretty much sence I could walk because my aunt owned a roller rink. He wasn't that good. But he tried to act like it. He ended up falling several times taking me with him, and then offered to buy me a soda, and spilled that on me as well. It was a long and horrible night.

Mine was back in 1993 it was the worst snow storm of the year around 10" of snow, the roads were completely covered and almost inpassable. He did not even come to the door for me he just beeped his horn (did not want to get his feet wet) as soon as I got in the car he said you have to hear this. He put in a cd as he began to drive, Elton John's Benny & the Jets came on and boy did he let loose, he belted this song out, the whole song, while singing he kept saying don't I sound like him? Don't I sound good? he kept on singing, once we got down to the end of my street(roads were horrible) I asked to please take me back home. I never again listened to Benny & the Jets.

I began to date this teacher and he came over to meet my folks, as he passed my younger brother who was sitting in front of the television, he patted my 12 yr old brother on the head like one does a dog and said "hello kid". The looks I got from my brother! I was shocked and embarassed he treated my brother liked that and on just meeting him. Afer a while we left sipposedly to go to the movies, but he didnt start the car, but began to try and fondle me in the front seat. I "suddenly" remembered I left my purse in the house and told him to hold on a minute and I'd get it. AS I entered the door, I told my father the guy must be Russian and Italian, and he asked why. "Because he had rushing hands and roman fingers." I went upstairs as the doorbell rang and both my brother and father answered the door.

I had been dating this guy for about a month and we went to this sports complex where you could try different sports. I enjoy golf and he had never played before so I explained how you have to stand and all of that. Anyways, he did it all wrong so I told him to back up and I'll show him how. Well I got in my stance and then took a swing at the ball, when I tured around he looked shocked with his hand on his head!! I had hit him in the head with the golf club. He started bleeding all over the place and it was so embarassing!! He refused to seek medical attention and decided he wanted to go home. Later that night I called him and he said that he went to his doctor and his doctor said he had a minor concussion!! We wound up dating for 6 months longer until I realized he was a big weirdo!
