Do we not get points anymore for starting duscussions?

I've posted a few discussions in the last few days. Did I miss something? Why are my ratings' not going up when I start discussions? Is it only for responses now?

You will get one points if someone response on that discussions you made. I don't know about how much you will earn just that I know.
