Do we still get points for rating when we start discussions? I've started some new discussions and none of them brought my rating scores up. is it just for responses now?

No, you do not get any rate increase until one person responds to you.
I guess myLot did not want to pay for discussions that were really not contributing.
So, they made it to where you will receive your credit once a person responds.

Oh, I guess I'm just on the senile side or something because I swore it went up as soon as you made the post. I just never really noticed. I can see why they don't though. It's a shame becasue I had some discussions I hoped they would really take off and really wanted responses but I guess they just weren't what anyone wanted to discuss. It's the way it goes around here.

I thought that your points went up as people rate the discussion you start, and rate your response on the discussions. That's all.

I guess I missed that. Maybe I just noticed this. I feel like a big dummy now.

I've read all the rules form the beginning and just thought something else changed. I don't think they really want us to know how we get earinings. Somedays I'm shocked about what I do or don't get. Thank you. I never realized this before.

It counts towards your points after someone responds. So you can make up a thousand discussions but unless someone posts to them they don't get counted. That's probably why they haven't showed up in your counter yet.

Gotcha! I never noticed that before though. I always thought as soon as you posted a discussion you recieved your point.
